We praise the Lord for a new treatment that is available for Raynan’s cancer. When she was first diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera (PV) in 2003, there was no known cause or cure for the disease. In 2005 the cause was found (a mutant gene) and now some researchers have discovered a treatment for P.V. They have produced a medicine that actually goes to the root of the problem, and inhibits the uncontrolled proliferation of the blood cells in the bone marrow. You can follow Raynan’s progress on

Raynan is now on a treatment with a drug called pegylated interferon or Pegasys. It is a very expensive medication ($600+ per weekly injection) and it was not covered by our insurance or Medicare. But we were told about a foundation for financial help for the medication. We are convinced by the sequence of events that the Lord performed a miracle of provision.
